Hail Ishtar, the warrior-goddess of Babylon! She looks effing great, as does her lion (very well drawn). If I may, I would like to elaborate on the differences between the Akkadian Ishtar and the Sumerian Inanna, both of which came to be "blended" with each other. Ishtar was more of a war&sex-goddess, whereas Inanna was more of a trickster-divinity (not so intent on fighting, but more inclined to "trickery" to get what she wants - ask poor Enki)...I could go on and on, but that wouldn´t be fair to anyone!!
