While visiting Bar Harbor, Maine I came across this delapidated house and barn. The Lupines came from my imagination, they are known for their vast fields of lupines,, a blue/purple flower. This is painted in oils, on board approx. size is 18 in. x 30 inches.

A wonderful happy making picture. I love your brushwork, Marisa!

Artist Reply: Thank you Anneke.. I'm trying to loosen up a little and not paint so tight.. it's hard to do for an "A type" person like me, but applying individual strokes usually to music with a good beat is a great way to work towards this end. (smile)
