Hi Bruce, you painted much to see here in this wonderful blue world! Buddha sitting on stairs in front of a gate and a lion standing before him like they are guards. In the back there are sails. Maybe they represent Buddha's thoughts sailing all over the world? I also see a wheel, like a symbol for the wheel of time. Although it's 'framed' by the blue, the cave itself has an endless depth. :) The water with the green rocks is beautiful, it's really flowing!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Anneke! I very much appreciate your spending so much careful time studying and analyzing this painting -- so thoughtfully and so exhuberantly! Peace, etc., Bruce
