If you are familiar with my portfolio, you'd know that "pipes" are a favorite theme in my artwork. Pipes were a negative subject ingrained in my childhood memories, so painting them in a different light is almost therapeutic for me. Anyway, this is my latest "pipe" painting entry! Hope you like! Thanks!!~S

Really like this! Awesome!Anonymous Guest 17 Mar 2010
Very nice! I love the contrast of the cold hard steel versus the soft warmth of the vine. I think the condensation on the pipes helps pull it all together. It totally works.Loredana 04 Mar 2010

Your work with pipes is outstanding, Steve. It's intersting what you're saying here and its wonderful you can use this subject as therapeutic. Lately I read a story about pipies, perhaps it could have inspired you. (- in Hebrew )..Marika Antal 01 Mar 2010

I LIKE IT!!!!! My ingrained subject is stairs that go nowhere... like in "Laberynth" or kind-of "Harry Potter". What does that say about us, my friend??? I like the vines, makes it less spooky... :-)Calvin McFarlane 24 Feb 2010
