My daughter sent me this from Washington DC. No government for a week!!! Do you think maybe we could go for two weeks?

wow! that's beautiful. I love when it looks like this and we finally got some down on the flatlands. To answer your question about climbing the mountains. We've become quite the hikers and have done some good ones. 2,000 gain in elevation on a 13 mile RT hike is the most we've done so far. It gets addicting. How are you anyway? I got caught up in school and neglected my AW friends. I apologize for that. Hope you are well. Peace, Nancy

I'm hoping ( re-govt)..... lovely photo! Did you see ( on TV ) that a young person built an igloo near the white house, and put a sign on top that said " Al Gores House" or some such.... ;-)
