Mechanical Angel I

Mechanical Angel I - the FIRST in a new series - a Steampunk series - called "Mechanical Angels" (and this one is the first in the series - all will be different but feature simialr clockwork/gothic themes). This first painting - "Mechanical Angel I" features a gorgeous big eyed angel girl - quite doll-like - with wings right out of Da Vinci's notebook, and a plethora of clockwork gears and scientific implements around her. She even has a glowing butterfly in some sort of stasis container. This piece looks even prettier in person - the "glowing" blue-green lights almost do seem to glow amongst the subtle coluration of the mechanics. My own original acrylic painting. ©Jasmine Becket-Griffith - prints are available at http://www.strangeling.com and http://zazzle.com/strangeling*
