Mermaid of the Deep

Mermaid of the Deep - I have long been obsessed with the deep, deep sea creatures - those in the abyssal and benthic zones. Bioluminescent creatures like gulper eels, lantern fish, anglerfish, glass squid, jellyfish, all those wonderfully creepy creatures. Here is a mermaid who lives amongst them - a little creepy and bioluminescent herself! I really, really love this painting.
