THE BEAR SUPRISE

I heard a noise outside my kitchen window, on a snowy autumn night, and grabbed the digital, thinking it was Raccoons. When I pulled up the blind, I nearly had a heart attack! This large bear was chewing on one of those bags of lard put out for birds, and leaning against the window at the same time! It is an old window...and talk about being frightened out of my wits. I kept thinking "any minute now, he'll break through. But he just ate and left.

WOW!!!!! He knows that you have treats for all the wildlife. He will be eating out of your hand before long..... :-) Terrific shot, my dear friend!!!

Artist Reply: I would hope he'd be eating OUT OF my hand, rather than eating MY HAND!!! On second thought, I like it better if he'd stay in the woods where he belongs. THANKS MARY...AND ALL OF YOU FOR THOSE WONDERFUL COMMENTS!
