Four Views of Kent House Plantation

This is four miniature paintings of the Kent House Plantation in Alexandria, Louisiana. Built in colonial Louisiana by Pierre Baillo on a Spanish Land Grant, it was the one of the only buildings to escape destruction in the Civil War. Every year there is a miniature show at the River Oaks Art Center and this was my contribution.

Wonderful mood, great structures and composition... especially shown as a group! The reds and greens vibrate and bring this to life!
