The Knitter is one of my favourite Bougeureau portraits. Had to try my hand at it. Oil on 18 x 24 stretched canvas. Not for sale.

Oh. . . the softness of the blue robe with the striking dark eyes is well. . . spellbinding. How long did it take you to paint? What was the most difficulty part? It is just beautiful Casey.

Artist Reply: Thanks Robin. The entire painting was a real challenge, but I absolutely loved the little girl so much that it didn't seem 'difficult'. It took approximately 30 hours to paint. I'm glad you enjoy her, she sure is a doll...
