Coy Koi

A koi fish that is being coy and not looking at the viewer. The word "koi" comes from the Japanese, simply meaning "carp." It includes both the dull grey fish and the brightly colored varieties. A homophone of koi means "love, affection" and koi are therefore symbols of love and friendship in Japan. 40" x 30" Original Acrylic Painting on Box Canvas 2008 For Sale By Artist @ www.theHOELstudio.com
