I piece I did in early 2009. Some of you may have seen this in my livejournal earlier this year. This image is one of many spot illustrations to be used in my third how-to-draw book (this time centered exclusively around dragons). This image is the spot illustration that sits alongside a wing unit about wings that do not have branched fingers, and are instead a single large flap of skin stretched tight by a single bone structure along the top, much like a pterodactyl.
