Here is my first attempt at political art. The phrase, "meet the new boss... same as the old boss..." comes from a song from the band the Who "Won't Get Fooled Again". I don't know about others, but I am disillusioned by our current president, just like I was with the last one. I keep wondering, will we learn, and actually get a decent candidate for once? I'm tired of voting for the "lesser of two evils". Enough is enough! The idea of the Pepsi and Coke logos behind them is to show that candidates aren't people any more, they are brands. Just like the two mentioned soda brands, they pretend there is a difference in the commercials, but when you get right down to it, there is no real difference. To those who may make remarks about how I feel about race, I've never been prejudiced, and have voted every election so far since I have been able to vote, Democrat. But I think it's high time for a third, or even a fourth candidate! Offer us real choice! Like the song I mentioned says, "...I get on my knees and pray, we don't get fooled again"!
