From references I took on a trip to the Cape Point Nature Reserve South Africa. What an amazing place, none the grand vistas of Northern Tuli. Instead a multitude of texture and colour, the Fynbos is an ecosystem best viewed up close. This bontebok just strolled nonchalantly through, barely noticed the mad rush of colour around it. This is painted in acrylics on canvas.
