What a great idea...if you decie you don't like it you can wrap leftovers in it...LOL...just teasing, love it.

Artist Reply: Well, IF I ever went to work I would have a colorful lunch!

excellent colors and texture! I don't like canvas either..I'm not even sure why painters starting painting on canvas in the first place

Artist Reply: Annette, thank you! I think galleries like canvas and dictate its use. then all art hanging on the wall has a "professional" (substitute 'McDonalds') look to it. I hate fighting the texture of canvass, it prevents anything from happening!

Do you mean the foil we use in the kitchen??? It's really beautiful, I hope you have pasted it on some cardboard?

Artist Reply: Yes, Anneke, the very same kitchen foil! I paint it, photo it and throw it away! I am not liking canvas at all. The texture is competitive and conflicting, hindering movement and blending and it has no life of its own! You have to put at least a dozen coats of paint on canvas before you can work it.

WOW HOW INTERESTING, JERRY. TIN FOIL? IT CERTAINLY DOES LOOK LIKE A RIVER RUSHING. AND GREAT COLORS; PERFECT.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Sharon, so far I am not enjoying painting on canvas, but I am out of copper! Since I mostly paint "stuff" and photograph it, then give it away or throw it away, I thought why not try aluminum foil? It works like the copper and I just squish it up when I'm done!!!
