Beautiful big trees, great image!

Artist Reply: Thank you, Patty, it seems that if the fires don't get them then the loggers will.

I'm wondering how tall these are and what kind of trees, looks like three different barks?

Artist Reply: Hi, Anneke! The really rough bark tree is an old-growth Douglas Fir, and a small one at that! It is over 200 years old, maybe 100 feet tall. The other is a cedar tree, probably equally as old and about 70 feet tall. I have seen much bigger of both!

Beautiful shot Jerry. The old growth trees on the West Coast are truely awesome!

VERY BEAUTIFUL SHOT, JERRY. THE FIREMAN CERTAINLY IS DWARFED BY THE TREES. PERFECT BALANCE.

Artist Reply: It is a hot miserable job to save the forests. My helper apprentice fights these fires every season.
