Hi friend, thank you for encouraging faith related topics in art. Yes, as humans we should be able with God's help to overcome all evil by good, we shouldn't be so intimidated (or fascinated, I don't know which is worse) by evil. That equivalence of good and evil is so static. If we want to moove forward and live of course we should cleang to good.
Love

Artist Reply: I prefer good over evil, light over dark, the contrast can tell story's in art, purely dark art for the sake of being dark is kinda depressing to alot of us, but then again, it is still art, sometimes I will see a dark moody piece and it will speak to me, so will bright cheerful art, artism is cool that way. luv u 2.

Hi Kirby, thanks for the comments on my leopard piece. I agree with Sten, it is nice to see the artist!! Utah, eh? My cousin lives out there. He was just rescued by Helibopter after falling 30 feet down a "bowl" and being out for 3 days with out water....anyway...nice work.
Artist Reply: Oh, I wonder if he was the one in snow canyon, me an mom hiked that same trail last month, we watched the rescue on tv, theres pictures of the whole thing on the net too, it was scary!! oh yah, and thanks!!
Thanks for your comments, sir. Are your pieces all from your imaginary realm? or, do you use references?
Artist Reply: Mostly out of my pointy head, but I will use poses if I have a hard time with proportions or hands, if I get stumped by a piece in progress I will get somebody to pose and take a photo, that helps. get a friend to photograph you and work from that, Norman Rockwell would set up entire scenes and work from the photos to get his lighting rite, it works.
Nice picture! So where are exactly? I am from Utah (now living in Cali) and just curious. Have a great day!
Artist Reply: Thats funny, I was raised in Cali, Grass Valley/Nevada City, this pic was taken just south of Ceedar City, I live in Central by pine Valley now.
Fantastic capture of you Kirby we're about the same age and we share a love for great shirts. A classic fellow in his favorite spot obviously! All My Best...Seth.
Artist Reply: Actualy this spot we found a bunch of geodes, like 2 wheel barrows full, it was cool!! now I need a rock saw:(
