A garden without a fig tree...is MINE...but I hope to remedy that next year. These are gorgeously delicious shots, Jer, and make me hungry. My Italian grandmother used to grow these on her tenement balcony in New York.
I am curious to know, which vegetable or fruit I can't find in your garden? Excellent shots, Jerry!
Artist Reply: Hi, my friend in Paris! I didn't plant corn this year!
I do have an apple tree with five varieties grafted
on it, a fig tree, a plum tree, strawberries, 7 varieties of tomatoes, 2 of peppers, 5 of lettice,
3 of cucumbers, acorn squash (winter squash) and
zuccinni and yellow crook-neck squash (summer squash) cabbage, broccoli, raddish, carrots beets, leks, onions, basil, borage and mint, and, of course,
potatoes! and maybe something I am forgetting!
and then, tons of flowers everywhere!
