I love all your Annunciation paintings, Bruce! You really capture the spirit of the moment! Such wonderful colours on this one! I can imagine that you posted this specific zoomed in picture, great brushwork!

Artist Reply: A ha! I finally caught Ms Anneke Hut in a mistake! Bet not many folks can say that! There are NO BRUSH STROKES in/on this painting! Everything is done with a pallet knife or two, (often the edge or tip) or perhaps some kitchen implements that I can't remember right now. It was done some time ago AND I hardly remember much of anything any more. So, dear Anneke, I appreciate all of your comment greatly, especially the inaccurate surmisal!
