This is one of my earlier portraits and still one of my favourites. It is pencil on acid free paper and is not for sale. I have the original of this framed with a copy of the photo I drew it from and we have it on display when my Brother and I have a stall at craft markets and after four years it still attracts a lot of attention. I don't know what is about the drawing because my more recent work is better but I think here I have managed to capture the obvious love between these sisters, and to embody that in a drawing is difficult, but it is what I strive to achieve in all my portraits.
