Golden Reflections

This is the Center Church—First Church of Christ in Hartford, CT. It was completed in 1807. Today, it sits next to a large office building with gold windows (appropriately named the "Gold Building"). In fact, the church is located at the corner of Main and Gold Streets. If the sun is just right in the late afternoon, it is bathed in beautiful patterns of gold light.

Artist Reply: Thanks Tim. The lighting is courtesy of a golden glass office building right across the street. I really liked the effect and underexposed to accentuate the reflections. Always appreciate your positive comments.
