who
received an original drumhead.
GREAT NEWS:
Megan Pinto, the Field Producer of WHYY's
TELEVISION for
Wilmington/Philadelphia
"Delaware Tonight" would love to cover our
Drumhead Show in her program!
I'm thrilled! And so are my students.
The Drum Head Art show encompasses the
use of original drumheads in two-
Dimensional and Three-Dimensional Art in all
mediums. This could include, but
not be limited to, water media, oil, acrylic,
pastel, mixed-media, photography,
printmaking, graphics, collage, fabric, etc.
Ribbons are awarded for Best of Show, (1st,
2nd, 3rd place awards) and
Honorable Mention.
Juror's scores are
predicated on creativity, originality, design,
technique and presentation.
The decision
of the jurors is final.
The show will be open to the public from
September 21 through September 25,
2009. (Bring a friend week)
THIS IS WHAT I DID:
To show my students the different possibilities
this one is totally different and more of a
challenge than the other one (I posted in this
portfolio.)
I still made use of the circle but designed a
subject which triggers the eye away from the
center and its roundness.

LOVE it Olga! Amazing warm art. Got 3 children and one of them a girl she died after one day been living. Had to think about it when I saw this. I do not feel pain but just thankfulness that she was there for a moment in my/our life. Again: great work.lillianhibiscus 13 Jul 2009
