It IS an extremely special painting to me, and I explain at length the experience of painting it in a blog posted elsewhere. Actually, I think I will reprint that here on ArtWanted's Blog site, since the number of comments is now up to ten -- a lot for me, but I know an artist or two who routinely receive well over 100 comments in a few days. I want to express again, Laura, that I really appreciate your various comments of some of my paintings: they greatly encourage me to keep plugging away at moving the paint around here and there on whatever more or less flat surface I can find, though I've even painted a couple of tennis ball cannisters recently.
