It is only when we distance ourselves
from
the
things we love,
we are able to see their
powerful
beauty.
"We
have to
keep on dreaming to get our wishes
fulfilled!"
"SILVER LINING"
could have
been a
great title too!

LE PAYS
PLAT
("My flat country/mijn platte
land")
chanter
Le plat pays qui est le mien.

Dear Olga, I sure know what you mean. I lived in Den Haag for almost 10 years and was able to travel a lot. I've been back here for, four, and it is very difficult accepting it still. I dearly hope, though, that President Obama can begin turning a lot of things around, especially the destruction of nature and of wars! Thank you for this beautiful gallery. It means so much to me, and it is a place I can come to as sanctualy. Peace, etc., BruceSusana Araujo 21 Jun 2009

(The flat country that is mine.) It's so odd because Louisiana is so flat and so dissimilar. We have five times the space and a tenth of the population. Thanks for sharing.Anonymous Guest 11 Jun 2009
