Once again - "Fearless Leader" - has announced that he is not interested in running car companies in the U.S. but he then read through a long list of "Cafe Standards" for the remaining American Auto Manufacturers. The most irrational of the new standards is for gazoline powered cars to achieve an individual standard of 35.5 Miles per Gallon. To achieve that goal will require making an entirely new class of car that no one in their right mind would want to drive. Studies by the National Academy of Sciences said, "that steps by car manufacturers to reduce vehicle weight to comply with federal" manufacturing edicts have already "resulted in... 2600 additional deaths" per year. Well, that tears it - in a nation with more oil and coal reserves than any other in the world, it is apparent that "Being Green" is more important than human lives - that's somebody's Mum or Dad. Rather reminiscent of some other early totalitarian governments in the previous century - reckon learning history's lesson is off the table, eh? So - U.S. auto manufacturers have to make cars that only a small group of certifiables could want - which along with ridiculous Union Contracts negotiated by students of Saul Alinsky - should do in the Big Three in no time flat. For those readers not on a computer or for those incapable of "Googling" - Alinsky developed a method of disguising communist doctrine in what has come to be refereed to by the code phrase - Community Organization - which the rational public recognizes as a means of subjecting the poor to the will and service of the "Progressive Movement" - the current regime in what once was called the land of opportunity.
