The Baker's Nephew's Wish

The bulk of this scene was created by clay sculpture using play dough.The background and design I painted. The baker in the work does not understand why the cookies are multiplying themselves and growing in size. He is unaware that his hungry nephew has secretly wished for the cookies to become bigger and more in number.

Artist Reply: Thank you very much! I figured out that I could get some nice textures from working with play dough. It's easy to form with and gives a 3-dimensional look to the image.
