Reflections at the Window

Photos taken in Zichron Ya'aakov. Israel.
I have a question: Being an artist, do you have any particular creation of yourself that you love best, or feel attached to, more then other creations ...?...
Thanks for viewing and commenting.

I can see you dear Nira, in the heart! Upper photo, concentrating on your capture. Excellent - such pretty pictures. And as for your question.. I'm not certain if I love one more than another - they all hold a special attachment for me.

Artist Reply: " I can see you dear Nira, in the heart!" - True Les... AND, can mean more even. I understand you... there is specialty in every and each creation. I sometimes find artwork, that I made many years ago, and contain for me special feelings. I also enjoy sometimes to visit an artwork, that is no longer mine. Yet... I definitely has some artwork that "does" more to me then others ( as you could read me in this link ).. Good night there my dear friend... may your dreams be as sweet as can be, perhaps will come true also, if you wish it to. Starting my day here, soon my kids get up... :-).. LOVE.. Hugs, NIRA.

Yes Nira. I stood in Claude Monet's garden in Giverny and did a painting that is small but it expresses my love for impressionism. It was so thrilling to be in his garden as he is my favorite artist and has made me see light and color...Beautiful work you have here......loved seeing you....your so creative

Artist Reply: Dear Sandra.. I very much understand and can relate to the fact, you were thrilled to paint at Claude Monet's garden. I very much love Claude Monet's art, myself. I never been to his garden, perhaps it will happen in future. BUT.. I saw his works in several museums. I saw a most unique exhibition of him, not particularly his waterlilies in London, 2 years ago. I have HUGE Book with his artworks and there are also photos from his garden. Meanwhile, I very much enjoy myself waterlilies ponds, when I meet with, take photos and get inspired to paint... :-) Thanks so much, loved to know you some more here. Regards, NIRA.

Beautiful captures, Nira. I guess it is you reflecting in the window, in upper one. Where was it taken in Zichron ?

Artist Reply: Dear Anon, as LouAnn says here you have a keen eye.. Indeed it is me, the photo was taken some time back. It was taken in the main street of Zichron, it is a side of a shop of gifts. Thanks so much ! regards..

VERY GORGEOUS, DEAR NIRA. I REALLY LOVE THE 2ND PHOTO. IN ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION, USUALLY THE PAINTING I JUST COMPLETED IS MY FAV OF MINE. :) THOUGH, ONE OF MY FIRST, "WATERLILY", I AM PARTIAL TOO. AND YOU? XOXOX

Artist Reply: Hello Sharon, I'm glad you enjoy my post here. I also love your waterlilies, and I love mine :-)) Well... I definitely have my favorites of mine. As I know myself the process of making a painting, is very important to me.. I mean, I can enjoy my art after finishing it, I feel the fulfillment .. but I feel the process is more important... As if I had to say something and while painting - I DID IT! Several artworks mean more, because of the emotions, I put in it, or work with ... or because, I felt I manage to achieve a development of some kind in my art. Or simply because the subject "talks" to me more. If I manage to do something that is "NEW" to me - it's IMPORTANT... One of my cat's painting for example is a most favorite... but I have few paintings, that I truly love. Anyway, after some time from finishing an artwork and looking at it, I look at it, as if i'm a viewer not the painter.. and I very much enjoy this fact.. As if my role for my painting changed. XOXOX Thanks a lot.. Nira.

BEAUTIFULLY DONE, NIRA! YOUR ART ALWAYS GIVES SUCH A WARM FEELING! I LOVE IT!

Artist Reply: Well, it must be ME, Emily behind my art. I believe your art shows who you really are, if you be able to express yourself in one or another way of ART. Thanks so much... regards, Nira.
