SOUL MATES

THIS IS 16X20 PICTURE I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON ABOUT ONCE A WEEK,FOR QUITE A FEW MONTHS AT THIS ART CLASS I STARTED, TO LEARN MY SHADING AND CONTRAST MORE, THE TEACHER LAURIE IS A GREAT ARTIST HERSELF. I SEEN A PICTURE A ARTIST HAD PAINTED IN A PALLETTE KNIFE AND I THOUGHT I WOULD LIKE TO TRY THAT MYSELF.I USED A REFERENCE PHOTO TO GO MY FOR THIS PICTURE FOR PRACTICE ONLY.HOPE YOU LIKE THANKS FOR LOOKING

Really lovely work Debbie, this technique suits your style, I think you've got something here! She reminds me of Stand with a fist from the film, Dances with wolves:)
