Porto Bello Town from Fort

Sharon De Vore Gonzalez's Facebook profile Porto Bello town is famous for the Black Christ. There is a parade through the town with the Black Christ on a certain holy day. The rest of the time, the Black Christ remains on the altar of the Catholic church in Porto Bello Panama.

Strange that a piratsnest also has a christian background.. As if they wanted to be released from their sin

Artist Reply: Oh Ben, Pirates did NOT live here they attacked Porto Bello, but the protection for Porto Bello was tremendous and foiled the pirates coming down the cove. Porto was a Spanish settlement and Very Catholic. Thank you so much for your comments. Hugs, Sharon PS British pirates tried to pillage. :)
