Sharon, this piece is absolutely lovley! I have to agree with Mr. Caldwell in saying that is brings back wonderful feelings from childhood. I feel so lucky that I was able to see this painting on an Autumn day, it makes me feel the comfort of another season coming to an end, but alas fall is before us! Wonderful job, you are truly talented!
Sharon, When I first looked at this, the colors and lighting brought back wonderful feelings I would get as a child. With this very same color and lighting as I remember couldn't just be my imagination. Also it is within the sky, complimenting all too well with the landscape.
Such a beautiful painting, Sharon! I love the colors you used for the flowers! I have seen this scene so many times before, while driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway or whenever we decide to get off the beaten path! This painting brings back wonderful memories of the mountains I love so much!
