This is a concept inspired from Tim Burtons animated films. I used a variety of media, from clay to fantasy film. I wanted the character to look depressed as he is waiting for his date to arrive, who has stood him up. I wanted to capture a dark gloomy grungy feel to the illustration. The window in the distance signifies warmth, as he is waiting on the street in the cold.
