Iron Bridge

This is one of Fort Wayne's Historic landmarks, one of the few old wrought iron bridges left in the country. I don't know how old it is, but I will find out. It was built by the wrought Iron Bridge Builders from Canton, Ohio. The close up photo has the names of those who designed and engineered it. Photo By Sharon Lee. Copyright 2009

That is Beautiful!!!!

Artist Reply: You know until I started looking for things to really shoot here in my town, I had forgotten how blessed we are here in Fort Wayne to have such neat treasures. Thanks

Nice photograph and background.

Artist Reply: Hi Teresa, just a different view of the bridge, with some of our Fort Wayne skyline. Glad you like it.

I love these old bridges and your right few and far between most have been replaced by cable bridges what a great capture

Artist Reply: The snow melted, and the river decided to rise, but you can't see it here. I was so please it was a nice day, although it was in the 20's that day! Thanks so much Gerry for your nice comments on all of my pics!
