Tired of waiting for Dad

My son, Peter, loses patience with the amount of time I'm taking to find good shots.

Wonderful work! What a great scene.

Artist Reply: Thank you Pamela. This shot wasn't staged: that "happy" face is exactly what I saw through the viewfinder. Of course, I knew I had something special even though Pete wasn't in a very cooperative mood. Thanks for stopping by to take a look.

A great moment caught in that split second... Wonderful work

Artist Reply: Thank you very much Ben. Pretty soon, your lovely daughter will be in your viewfinder and you will think you're in heaven. Really glad you like this shot.

My children hate my camera now! He ended up being the prfect shot! Well done.

Artist Reply: Actually, your daughter looks like she's very coopertative. . .that is, unless you have to bribe her big time. Yes, kids are great subjects, regardless of their 'tude. Thank you for your great comments.

great pick

Artist Reply: Thank you, Helen. This is one of those photos that still makes Pete and me chuckle when we see it. I'm pleased to report that his patience has greatly improved over the years. Thanks for stopping to take a look.

HE IS NOT THE ONLY ONE..SOMETIME MY DEAR SON DOES THAT TOO:=))ONE CAN SEE SO MUCH..IN THIS WORLD TO CAPTURE:=)) EXCELLENT SHOT:=))

Artist Reply: Peter is 29 now and, thankfully, has a very pleasant and patient disposition. No more bad moods. . . I've seen many of your photos of Anton. I do see a lot of Peter in him. I'm glad each of us can count our blessings. Thank you for your wonderful comment.

Lol...I feel your pain Mike. My kids don't have any patience either! One day, he'll look back at all of the wonderful images you've taken over the years and appreciate the time you took to get the image ;)

Artist Reply: Thanks so much for commenting Michelle. Yep, he turned out pretty good after all. . .and does appreciate the trials and tribulations dad when through as an aspiring photographer.

best way for kids to be....sleeping LOL (i have 4)

Artist Reply: Except they're usually sleeping when you want them to be awake and awake when you'd like them to be sleeping. Well, even these "trying" times become part of the collection of cherished family memories. Thanks for stopping by to have a look.

I'd do it on purpose if I could get a shot like this! Really nice!

Artist Reply: Thanks very much for your comment Mike. I wasn't a very willing photo subject when I was a kid, either, so I guess some of that rubbed off on Pete. Now, he does appreciate the effort that goes into getting good shots.

Used to play on a lot of tires when I was a kid. Just wonderfull scene.

Artist Reply: Yes, you could certainly do a lot with an old tire. They seem to have fallen out of favor. Thanks very much for stopping by. I appreciate your comment.

He looks like he needs a camera, too!! Great shot!!

Artist Reply: I appreciate your comment Mary. Indeed, he did pick up a camera a few years later, but unfortunately didn't stick with it. At least we got to do some good father-son shooting while it lasted.
