Artist Reply: Thank you Maria, This is the flower of a Sarracenia Leucophylla hybrid. They are often pollinated by bugs which sometimes end up being food for the plant. Usually the flowers open before the pitcher traps develop but this plant had traps already developed. Have a good day, George
