...Nor Egrets

Just back from a Florida vacation, I did a quick study of the late sun on this egret's feathers. The challenge was to paint this nearly all-white bird without a single white spot on him.

Artist Reply: Thanks so much, Anneke. Such thoughtful comments help me grow as an artist. On this painting, I used a triad of primaries on the feathers. I wanted to practice my wet-on-wet technique because I need to strengthen those skills. Dan
