Love In Their Heads ...

Watercolour : 36 CM X 48 CM.
Unknown models.
Inspired by a photo.

EMOTIONS… { From my book of life }
Not me, Nor him, BUT …
This is how I see ” US ” in my mind.
Even though, No.. He’s not posing, definitely not this way…
She, Yes.. she would pose this way.
And, please don’t make any speculations.. because this is nothing more then inspirational writing… :-)... ( for next valentine’s day :-)
Of course, as an artist this is only one way I can sEE " US".. There are many more ways ;-)... to express "US"... I hope to deal with more in future.
Feel free to say what’s on your mind about this image.
Thanks for viewing and commenting.

LOVE THIS Nira.....Outstanding watercolor + excellent definition to the models......It says alot.....The Man NOT seeing the Woman as she is.....and She holding something of His to remember Him by.....Outstanding Work ! ! !

Artist Reply: I always, enjoy reading you,Thom.. here & at others portfolios, or in mails and I knew you'll love this work of mine... As you wrote this morning : "A lot of the time I just kind of "feel" your work".... Indeed you feel ME, as part of my art. You know me, in some ways, few years of wonderful friendship. Your insights into art, are wonderful. About the SHE, Here, you sEE more then I intended to bring actually, and to my opinion you sEE correct. And I can take it to more directions, as interpretation to symbolism. About HIM, Well, I actually DON'T REALLY KNOW Him, I DON'T!!...... ..... I made this work from a photo ( not taken by me ) and, I can accept your look or feel this work, knowing that you also don't know him, nor his story... But you may understand a man's mind in different way / perspective then myself.. just a maybe... at least you may understand such a man, that I don't really know. I believe that if I really knew this man, I would understand better the picture. It seems to me, he's kind of afraid looking, at what he wishes. In a way, she's looking his directions, but I can feel her fears too. I love this work myself, and what I felt also when I saw the source of inspiration. It felt so correct for me, to do it, in this particular moment I chose to paint it, with certain understandings of emotions we sometimes "meet" in LIFE . You know during the last year, I made few artworks inspired by emotions and I think I'm going to continue with this subject. Good night to you... from here, very strange weather outside ...
Artist Reply: "US" Can be in so many ways... This is one way.

Unexpected work form you, dear Nira. I love the way you convey this condition. EXCELLENT WORK !!! Besides love I can see pain and suffer in man’pose. Definitely I wouldn’t like to experience such feelings.

Artist Reply: Darling Izabella.. I enjoy reading you, and getting from you something I'm not sure, I meant to bring with this work, at least not in the first place... Perhaps he suffers pains, I'm not sure, actually... I meant to convey a situation of a "close" man, that in a way try to " show-off "... just in the way, I mean... not really showing off, but saying something in his own unique way . As you can sEE he look to the other direction, while she look perhaps dreaming to his direction. This is a situation from this couple... I'm glad you experience a wonderful LOVE... My love to you & Nikolay.. Nira.
Artist Reply: About his pains , I can only make speculations... Sometimes there are pains in LOVE...
Artist Reply: Izabella... Thanks for your mail also... :-)... Love to read you, here and there. Good night.

hehehe...great interpretation of the subject chamuda! Without the intent of wanting to be ugly, it remindes me of how animals pose :-)))) Shabbat Shalom....xox Trixi

Artist Reply: Well, Trixi... Just as I came back from school ( volunteering meeting before a project with the kids )... With my cup of Shoko :-) you are invited... I thought on my way on your words here. Animals and people has few basic needs in common, if you think of it well, that will be correct to say in general.. Yet there's a difference between people to animal in their minds and more. Perhaps also if you think of it well some of the poses of people and animal can be similar - This was not my intention... I wanted to convey something much more deep & emotional, in thoughts , that can be brought to paper in this way. Thanks for visiting... Enjoy your day, NIRA.
Artist Reply: Perhaps there's a connection also to basic needs...
