Infrared shot. Parts of the movie "Parrish," with Troy Donahue, Claudette Colbert and Karl Malden, were filmed in this area. Tobacco remains a thriving business in Connecticut. Poquonock is the Indian name for Windsor.
And I saw that movie when it came out back in the late sixteen hundreds. Troy Donahue wsas working 24 hour days trying to learn the tobacco business...kinda like arist trying to map out life ... most without a plan but plenty of 'gustimations...lol
Artist Reply: Glad someone besides me saw the movie. It wasn't a blockbuster, to be sure, but certainly provided a nice glimpse of Connecticut. Thanks for stopping by to take a look.
