self portrait

this is a self portrait i did for a competition. it is painted in thick water colour topped with layers of pastel gel and sprayed between layering.

Not knowing your mouth and teeth, we'll have to accept your appraisal, but I absolutely love the way you blended so many warm and cool colors into your portrait, Mandy. Actually, if anything, your ear could have used just a little more work---but just a little. :)

Very warm or lovely portrait!

Artist Reply: this portrait was for a competition. i used different colours to portray how i see light , shadows depth and meaning. i love to use greens and purples for shading.
