Another image from the photos taken on a bright but cold January day while walking on my local beach. The 'groins' a sea defence system that prevents the erosion of beach sand, looked just like knurled old sailors making their way to the surf. The bright sun brought out all the wonderful colours of the old Wood and the flotsam and jetsam that the groins had accumulated over the years.
