Gone fishing

This is my first attempt at an oil painting. I did this for a friend for Christmas. It is done on 16x20 inch stretched canvas.

After reading that you were inspired by one of my favorite artists since high school: the great Canadian Robert Bateman, I had to see your paintings. I really like this painting. You did good!!

Artist Reply: Thank you very much Jerrie! I used to paint wildlife all the time when I was younger. I am trying to get back into it but I have a lot of commission jobs for portraits so I am finding it hard to find the time. I think your wildlife art is beautiful by the way!
