Homage to Javier Morena (2008)

Javier Morena, the five year old son of a Mexican fruit vendor, was kidnapped and held for ransom. Ultimately, his captors killed the child by injecting his heart with battery acid and dumping the body. The scourges of violence and domestic terror wrack Mexico. As usual, it is the innocent who suffer. I hope Javier finds a better place.

So do I David! I think you are helping him to that 'better place' by immortalising him here! As usual, your use of symbolism tells the story better than any words. Fabulous!

This is a depressing story of murder, but a vibrant tribute to the life of a child. I love your style.

Beautiful tribute to a tortured innocent. If we all could feel the pain that vibrates throughout the planet for just one second I think we would shatter.
