Wow how much of texas looks like this?

Artist Reply: don't know what the percentage is...there are lots of live oaks down in the hill country, pine trees in east Texas (north and south) and quite a few deciduous oaks like these scattered around in northcentral and surrounding parts...then there are the dwindling hickory, sweetgum and pecan trees, plenty of hackberry, cedarelm, willow, red cedar, juniper and gobs of mesquite trees that are being considered for a significant fuel source...tired of hearing about all the trees in a state considered by many to be a wasteland? Thanks for your interest!!
