This is a baby morning dove that was found by my mothers little dog. When she found it the birds eyes were still closed and it just had a few feathers. I put it on a heating pad and started to feed it with an eye dropper and now it is doing so much better and growing by leaps and bounds

Artist Reply: thank you for checking out the pic I often wonder if this little one is still alive as I took her to a rescue place when she started to fly I was told it was illegal for me to keep her

G-d bless you for caring for this little baby. I rescued one from the road a few years back but he died shortly after that.

Artist Reply: So sorry to hear your little one did not make it Mine is doing really good I havn't had the change to take any resent pictures of her but will try soon. She has started to make the coo sound now not quite got it but love to hear her trying..... I pray she will be able to make it when I can turn her out in the spring thanks so much

She is precious!!! We have rescued baby squirrels and released them when they were older. It's rewarding when they go out on their own...a second chance at life. Best of luck!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you so much Mary I do hope I have the luck you have with the squirrels. She is able to fly by herself as she flys up out of my hands some times but I worry if she will be able to fordge for food I thank you for stopping by and thanks for the luck
