Just in time for Halloween, another piece for my calendar. There's a few things I want to tweak before it gets put in the calendar, like the hands mainly. This piece took a slightly different turn from what I originally intended. I was checking layers for deletion and closed all the layers I had for his pants ( which were rather cool: a sort of metallic satin blodd-red.) leaving just the mist where his pants would be, making him look part of the mist. As much as I liked the pants, the mist background struck me as too interesting a design to pass up. I guess I'll just have to use the pants in another painting. ;) Would have been done sooner but I've been sick and had a bit of a software setback where I lost *all* of my custom brushes in Painter. I had templates for my pattern brushes, so they were pretty easy to rebuild, but my 'hair' brushes and other settings needed to be redone from scratch. At least I'm still on schedule. I hope to have the calendar ready by the 2nd week of November. :)
