absku yirenkyi 2008,53x75, mixed media. part of the migration series. the symbol in the center means perseverance. The right side represents ghana(the structure at the top left is the boarding sch i went to) and the left side of the painting is less defined. I am trying to depict the process assimilation and how things get lost in that transition.
