Original size: 15"x24" (18"x28" including painted green marble border not shown) This creature is one of few that started her life on paper rather then in the worlds of dreams. I didn't set out to design an interpretation of the Greek Echidna, the mother of all monsters. She was just a creature from my mind but all the while I was working on this piece, anytime I was thinking or talking about her I always wanted to call her Echidna and so she was titled.
