Poppies and an Olive Tree

Sennelier and Schmincke soft Pastels on Fabriano Tiziano Paper. A loose and painterly picture showing bright fresh poppies throughout a Greek olive grove surrounding and ancient olive tree. I wanted to push the red to it's limit in this painting and show the texture of the old olive tree.
