The surf crashes into the beach with of crescendo on light, movement and sound.' I wanted to paint something loose and free and decided on a seascape. I wanted to get as many shades of blue into the painting as possible, most of what you see as white is very light shades of blue and green and only a few highlights in pure white. I had the title in my head as I was painting I think it suits.
