Hi Mike, this is a beautiful job youare doing for Tun. Very unselfish and uplifiting for him. I love his work, and I'm also a novice on the site. But I enjoy spend hours here, I see beautiful works here. He is very sensible, natural, with a rich mind and simple.

SO VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL, THAN.

Artist Reply: Hello! Thank you so much for your encouraging message. My name is Mike Kriley. I am a friend of Than Tun's and I put his art on this website. I have known Than Tun for almost three years and for the last two have been selling his watercolors in Boston. I have been pretty successful at this though I am a complete novice in the art world. I bought a mat cutter last week to save a little money for him. I haven't used it yet so we will see how that goes. I am currently in Bangkok visiting Than Tun and picking up some more of his art. He is here on a student visa and has been studying Thai and painting. I decided to put his art on this website to see what other artists thought of his work. I think it's beautiful and tell so but my knowledge of art is limited to knowing what I like... So last night I surprised Than Tun by showing him the webiste with his art and the 32 responses he received. He was SO HAPPY that so many ARTISTS liked his work. We were on the computer reading the responses until after three in the morning. He wanted to respond to everyone as quickly as possible so he asked me to send a message for him. He speaks English well but for him to send all these e-mails would take quite a long time. He also wants to look at the art of everyone who sent him messages so he can talk about that too. I'm sorry this message is so long and that I've sent the same message to everyone. Than Tun hopes to write to each of you himself sometime soon. But he wanted me to say, "Thank you so much for your message." everyone. As I am new to this I would GREATLY appreciate any advice you may have on helping Than Tun with his art. Again thanks and take care. Mike
