In August 2008 Russian troops rolled into Georgia to carry out so-called "peace enforcement operation" after Georgian army tried to retake a breakaway province. The invasion was accompanied by aerial bombardments targeting both military and civilian infrastructure. This act of aggression was followed by the recognition of the two Georgian breakaway regions as independent states by the Russian government which supported the separatist movements in Georgia for years. This is what this artwork is about — the politics with a Russian "K".
